Project Details

For this project we were assigned to pick a movie, take the script, and to play with the typography.

Goal: To create a movie script book in which the typography is expressing the feel of the book.

Just like the main character of the book could not tell the true side of his father, I wanted readers to feel the same way and not know the true side of the book. This being my concept, I decided to make the type go in different directions of the book. Since the book has a dark and magical feel, I decided to have hand drawn illustrations. The illustrations were drawn using pen and watercolors. The illustrator is Michael J. Feifer. The typeface used for this project is Avenir.
